Hey Sharon, so the app I use does track calories, but like I mentioned in the article I'm not too diligent about breaking down each recipe I make to determine the precise caloric amount. I use the My Fitness App and I just find a pre-catalogued food item already on the app that is similar to what I am eating and count that. I am not, nor will I ever be a calorie counter. I'm simply not that disciplined. I just find it helps to have a round about number in order to judge how much I should be excising for that day.

As for movement, my phone automatically has a step counter and if I am going for a jog or something more strenuous then it has a built in tracker for that.
